About the PEAR Study

We would like to invite you to take part in this online survey if you’ve had a baby born within the last 12 months, are over 18 years old, and lived mainly in England during your pregnancy,

We’d like to find out about what you ate when you were pregnant and how you decided what would be best to eat. We’re interested in healthy diets and in foods you might have cut back on or cut out altogether. We’d like to know where you found information about diet and how helpful you found it. Your answers will help us to plan what information would be most useful for pregnant women in the future.

The PEAR Study is being run by Dr Caroline Taylor and Dr Lucy Beasant in the Centre for Academic Child Health, Bristol Medical School, University of Bristol. It is funded by the Medical Research Council. It has been approved by the Health Sciences Faculty Research Committee at the University of Bristol.

You can find out more about the study at www.pearstudy.com or email pear-study@bristol.ac.uk
