About the PEAR Study

If you are midwife practicing in England and providing antenatal care, we’d like to invite you to take part in this online survey. We’re interested in finding out about how information on diet in pregnancy is provided to women.

The Pear Study aims to gather information from a range of sources, including midwives, to find out whether resources around diet in pregnancy need to be improved. We welcome your views on this.

The PEAR Study is being run by Dr Caroline Taylor and Dr Lucy Beasant in the Centre for Academic Child Health, Bristol Medical School, University of Bristol. It is funded by the Medical Research Council. It has been approved by the Health Sciences Faculty Research Committee at the University of Bristol.

You can find out more about the study at www.pearstudy.com or email pear-study@bristol.ac.uk
